What You’ll Be Doing

As Leading Hand | Multi-Skilled Plant Operator, you’ll:

• Operate a range of mobile plant including Material Handlers (Liebherr LH24, Sennebogan E521), sorting grapples, and front-end loaders.
• Lead by example to support a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee daily operations alongside a small, skilled team.
• Perform minor maintenance (refueling, lubrication, greasing).
• Complete required paperwork (pre-starts, running sheets, checklists).
• Deliver great service to both internal teams and external customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year operating mobile plant.
• Experience in waste sorting or scrap metal recycling preferred.
• Confident operating a variety of plant and equipment safely.
• Sound WHS knowledge and commitment to environmental best practice.
• Plant Licenses or Verification of Competency (VOC) required.
• Able to maintain accurate equipment records.
